Odda Smelteverk is a former factory located in the center of Odda , at the bottom of Sørfjorden in Hardanger , and which produced calcium carbide and derivative calcium cyanamide , dicyandiamide and hydrogen cyanamide . The smelting plant was in operation from 1908 to 2002 , with some interruptions. The business went bankrupt in 2003 .
