Fake Nokia E72 has Dual-SIM

We saw this Nokia E72 China Phone yesterday being sold at Makati Cinema Square for just Php4,000 but my cousin was able to get it down to just Php3,650 with two free SIM cards for the dual-SIM slot.

The construction and build quality is impressive you’d think the phone was made at the same Chinese factory the original ones were made.

Of course, the prints and painted logos seemed they were done in haste (that gave away hints that it’s a knock-off). The camera at the back even says it’s 9 megapixels. The speakers also blast broken audio even at half volume.

Of course, there’s no WiFi, 3G or GPS included but at under Php4k for a dual-SIM knock-off? Sold! *heh*

    I own this phone! Got it for Php3,700 at Greenhills. Wow the camera is not even 1MP, basag ang sounds tapos ayaw na mag-on after six weeks! Hahaha! Pinaayos ko Php800. The guy told me though, “Mam pagnsasira ulit bili ka na lang ng bago!”

    I highly recommend the my/phone ones as a spare dual sim phone. At least malapit sa bahay ko ang service center!

    If only for features not found in lesser model phones, then it might be worth your Php4k. Just be ready though to shell out the same amount if it conks out on you.

    Take these China DVD players for example, that sells for Php1,500 and even lesser here in Davao. It won’t hurt much to buy another one if ever it burned out, say after a year.

    Actually, I’m waiting for a China BluRay DVD player. Sure, I’ll be the first one in the queue for it. Haha!

    China phones have their use…. as a decoy for your much more expensive genuine phone perhaps? I’ve been a victim of snatchers (three as of last count) but they’ve so far only pilfered my china phones :D

    @jill,

    i think people buy this kind of phone because its cheap, dual sim and yung ibang features na wala sa ibang phone like dbvt, its not always(or even not at all) to pretend that your using an expensive phone

      i agree! buying phones are not only for the intention of bragging what kind of phone we have or how expensive it is… as for me i go for its usage. dual sim, tv? it’s like all in one. that can’t even be found in your authentic brand :D and if ever it got snatched or whatever tragedy it ends to….it’s not gonna be that painful coz i just got it a a very bargain price if we have to compare it to the authentic ones

    Knock-off? It should be called an innovation! hahaha. The Nokia dev team should see this, so they’d apply the dual-sim feature to their lower-end phones.

    There’s no point in sporting a fake phone. It only shows too obviously the degree of your pretensions. Always go for substance, not for the show.
