    Japanese Invasion of China
    Japan and China troops fought on the frontier. This was called the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. Stalin saw Japan as a threat so he provided support for China. Britain France US also gave support to China as they were strongly against Japan. An estimate of 10-20 million people died from the Chinese Civilians. Japan occupied Manchuria until the end of WW2.     It is a treaty between the Nazi Government and Germany. Its a treaty where each country doesn't ally or aid other countries when it comes to war.     It happened in Bataan, Philippines when Japanese coquered the Philippines. They captured 12,00 Americans and the rest are philipinos. Japanese militaries had bestowed aristrocity to the prisoners. Some are beheaded and shot along the road, died of hunger and lack of water. They are being punished along the road.     Allied soldiers crossed the English channel and stormed 5 beaches of normandy France, lead by the US. The operation to attack was coded for "neptune". Only Juno and Gold beach were linked by the first day. After a week all five beaches got linked to the plan. The operation was successful and the allies expanded as they drove into Germany from the west.

    Hitler wanted to split the Allied armies by surprising them with a blitzkrieg across the Ardennes to Antwerp in Europe. Germany couldn't defeat the allies as their casualties were a lot. Germany faced all the West ( British, US, France, Canada ) so they got destroyed. Germany lost 30,000 soldiers and 44,000 infantry forces were killed or captured. They also lost a significant amount of weapons.

    The UK and the US celebrate Victory in Europe Day. When German troops throughout Europe finally laid down their arms. In Prague, Germans surrendered to their Soviet enemy. Lost more than 8,000 soldiers. The German surrender was realized in a final cease-fire. The main concern of many German soldiers was to escape the grasp of Soviet forces, to keep from being taken prisoner. The impacts of the VE Day is that the unconditional surrender of Germany was signed at Rheims on May 7.

It ruined cities and immediately killed 146,000 people. After three days Nagasaki got bombed. This resulted in the death of 80,000 people. It was bombed by the RAF Bomber Command, and by the USAAF Eighth Air Force as part of the Allied campaign of strategic bombing of Germany.
