I don’t EVER write review but I owe it to this company!! I bought this toy in March for my daughter’s birthday in June. It worked great and she absolutely loved it. She plugged it in for the first time and the female plug insert broke inside making it impossible to charge. She was DEVASTATED and I was a WORRIED mom who knew this toy was past its 30 day refund period on Amazon. I reached out to the company who made this product and they were so good to work with. They sent videos to help teach me how to fix it but it was a no go. The piece inside was actually broken. So I ordered a new one on Amazon and they said that they would refund me the money after I received it. Not sure they really would refund the money I hesitantly ordered it anyway. It didn’t even take a full day for the refund to go through. In my opinion they are a trustworthy company doing the right thing for their customers. They could have easily turned their nose up at me because I was past the 30 day refund period but they didn’t. That says a lot to me. The new toy I ordered works perfect and the charge insert seems to be more durable.

I got this to amuse my puppy, but it mostly amuses me. Pretty darn cute and really has some moves. I think a little kid would love it.

UPDATE -- got it in March. Played it about once a day for my pup. Now in June it will not charge properly. Does a little bit of the song and them blasts the alarm and shuts down. I was able to open the battery door with a tiny Phillips screwdriver -- but the blue Li-ion3.7V JH 523048/500mAh flat battery is very hard to find anywhere for a replacement. There are a couple options on Amazon -- but the one that looks just like it is 29.95 - same price as the robot dog. Another one is about $13, but one review gave a warning about the wiring not being right. The toy charges with a micro cable, but the internal battery has to function. Mine no longer does. So I guess my fun is over. Not paying that much for a battery or dealing with a direct-from-China seller.

UPDATE 2 -- After I wrote the first update, I decided to check my charging cord. It was not holding a connection to the micro port and the red charging light was not staying on. I tried a new micro cord and now it is steady with the red charging light on (light is right in the micro port. So check that out before deciding the expensive battery is dead!
