Tara Reid was a Hollywood starlet after big roles in “American Pie” and “Van Wilder.”
Tom Brady had just shockingly led the Patriots to a Super Bowl upset over the Rams after taking over for an injured Drew Bledsoe.
The two collided in the celebrity dating world and had a brief relationship before going their separate ways.
Neither has spoken much about the relationship — until now.
Reid provided a glimpse into her memories of what it was like to date the quarterback in an interview with Bustle.
“We’d just see each other on and off,” Reid told the magazine in a revealing feature on the actress’ roller-coaster life and career.
“It was nothing serious, but it was fun. We’d go to beer places and have fun and dance. He was cool. He’s all skinny now. He’s so serious. He used to laugh. When I watch his interviews, he’s so cocky now.”
The relationship came before she began seeing then-MTV host Carson Daly, to whom she ultimately got engaged before a very public split.
“It was a different time,” Reid said of the early 2000s. “We used to go out, do whatever we wanted — then bam. It just changed so fast.”
It is unclear whether Reid has interacted at all with Brady through the years or is basing her opinion on the seven-time Super Bowl champ’s public persona.
Brady has certainly prioritized his fitness to a degree that surpasses almost every athlete.
His obsessive diet and workout formula — monetized as the “The TB12 Method” — helped him thrive throughout a 22-year NFL career that ended earlier this year.
Brady has shown more glimpses of his personal life since his retirement, often showcasing time spent with his three kids — Jack, 16, Ben, 14, and Vivian, 11 — on Instagram.
Brady had Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan and Ben and Vivian with model Gisele Bündchen.
Reid, Moynahan and Bündchen were the totality of Brady’s public relationship history until his divorce last year from Bündchen.
He recently had a fling with model Irina Shayk.
