Long ago a group of six samurai defeated the Horrotics, an army of monsters that bathed in the blood of humanity. However they lost their lives in the process. A fortune teller prophesied that in many generations the Horrotics would return and the spirits of the six fallen samurai would return. This would be symbolized by a special mark appearing on the body of the chosen descendant on their sixteenth birthday.

Many generations later the signs of the Horrotics return have begun to appear. The modern descendants of the red samurai have two children, a boy named Akira and a girl named Kimiko. On his sixteenth birthday the mark failed to appear on the Akira’s body. In disbelief he continued to train himself even harder hoping to make the mark appear.

Two years later on his sister’s sixteenth birthday the mark appeared on her body. Enraged he accused her of stealing his birthright and ran away. His anger drew the attention of a demonic swordsman aligned with neither the Horrotics nor humanity…

Before they had time to search for the Akira the marks began to glow and revealed the location of a temple the modern samurai must travel to. There they are met by monks who reveal that the Horrotics have indeed returned and they must become the Power Rangers Samurai Spirits in order to fight them off and defend humanity.

Spirit of Fire! Red Samurai Ranger!- Kimiko- The youngest of the samurai she is the leader by birthright. Early on her concerns about her missing brother fill her thoughts until a demonic swordsman attacks her. After the battle he reveals himself to be her brother possessed by the demon. After many battles she manages to free her brother from the spirit. She is sometimes overwhelmed by the responsibilities of being a leader and wishes she could let another Ranger lead but in time grows into the role- Armed with the Burning Blade

Spirit of Water! Blue Samurai Ranger!- Neil- At first he refused to acknowledge Kimiko as leader due to her age and lack of training. He even attempted to take control of the team for himself. However after she was servery injured protecting him from a monster he saw the error of his way and considers her the true leader, even scolding the others for questioning her- Armed with the Waterfall Bow and Rapids Arrows

Spirit of Earth! Yellow Samurai Ranger!- Brittany- For years her family considered the prophecy nothing more than myth and legend however they did continue to pass the emblem down. When the mark appeared on her she began training in secret however she is still the least experienced of the samurai- Armed with the Quake Shuriken

Spirit of Forest! Green Samurai Ranger!- Hector- An aspiring actor he was forced to miss a crucial audition to respond to the summon and as a result has little patience for their mission. He tends to take out this anger on the Horrortics- Armed with the Arbor Spear

Spirit of Sky! Pink Samurai Ranger!- Erika- A doctor who loathes violence and actually refused to fight the Horrotics at first until her inaction placed a group of people in danger. This lead her to act albeit reluctantly- Armed with the Cloud Fan

Each Samurai was given an emblem belonging to the ancient warriors. By infusing the emblem with Samurai Symbols they become the Samurai Zords

Samurai Spirit Megazord- Formed when the Samurai Zords unite.
Red Lion Samurai Zord- Attacks with flame and fire. Forms the torso and head
Blue Dragon Samurai Zord- Attacks with steam and mist. Forms the left leg and helmet
Yellow Ape Samurai Zord- Attacks with rocks and fissures. Forms the left arm
Green Bear Samurai Zord- Attacks with claws and leaf storms. Forms the right leg
Pink Turtle Samurai Zord- Attacks with gusts and tornadoes. Forms the right arm

The monks soon present three disks said to contain the power of ancient beasts tamed by the great warriors. By repairing and infusing the disks the monks believe the Rangers can call upon their aid.

Samurai Beetle Megazord- By combining with the Samurai Beetle Zord the Megazord gains powerful blasting cannons

Samurai Swordfish Megazord- By combining with the Samurai Swordfish Zord the Megazord gains a slashing double sword

Samurai Tiger Megazord- By combining with the Samurai Tiger Zord the Megazord gains piercing drills

Samurai Eagle Zord- The three Zords can combine to form the Samurai Eagle Zord. A massive bird that can attack on its own or with the aid of the Rangers

Grand Samurai Megazord- When the Eagle Zord combines with the Megazord they become the Grand Samurai Megazord gaining the power of flight and increased power.


Samurai Artifact of Unification- An ancient relic said to give one samurai the power of many. When repaired in the present it allows any of the original five Rangers to assume Super Spirit Mode and receive a massive boost in power



Spirit of Light! Gold Samurai Ranger!- Stephen- The son of a pair of tech CEOs he grew up surrounded by the latest in technology. At some point over the centuries his family’s emblem was broken but he used the pieces to build his own zord. The effort caused him to miss the original summons until he was able to finally join up with the others- Armed with the Shining Slasher

This originally started as a challenge to myself to retell the Zordon era without an over arcing story or characters. Basically make them stand alone like later seasons. Then a few months later inspiration struck and I did the rest. Some borrow more from Power Rangers, others more from Super Sentai, others from both equally, some from neither.

A discovery during a high school field trip changes the lives of six teens as they accidentally unleash an ancient witch. In the chaos the teens discover medals containing the power of mighty dinosaurs and the spirit of a noble mage tells them they must fight the witch as the Power Rangers Dinosaur Knights

Two brothers battle over the worship of a mighty dragon. The wicked brother intends to sacrifice a group of children born under special stars to gain the dragon’s favor. Outraged by this the kind brother rescues the children and raises and trains them to become the Power Rangers Chi Warriors to fight the evil monsters of his brother’s cult.

A group of hiking friends accidentally break the seal on a demonic tomb unleashing a horde of monsters. As they flee they find themselves in a temple of light where they are charged with defeating the evil they unleashed. In order to do this they must draw upon their inner spirit animal and become the Power Rangers Ninja Beasts

When five people across the world discover relics left behind by a visiting race of alien peacekeepers they are transported before a mighty pyramid in government custody where the relics empower them to fight off an invading group of robotic aliens as the Power Rangers Ancient Guardians.

A group of mechanics find the wreckage of an intergalactic police officer and rescue him. The officer informs them he was in pursuit of a ruthless gang of criminals and gives them experimental morphers allowing them to fight this threat as the Power Rangers Nitro Racers.

In response to the multiple alien attacks over the recent years the governments of the world create a special task force dedicated to fighting alien threats. Their first challenge comes in the form of the United Aeon Empire. It’s up to the Power Rangers Astro Force to keep the world safe.

Within the sacred forest of Gingal a village lives peacefully until the daughter of an old foe returns from the stars. Using the power of the forest, it’s up to a group of young people to protect their home as the Power Rangers Sacred Forest.

Monsters, ghosts, ghouls, and demons. The things that stalk the shadows are real and a special group called the Paranormal Activity Task Force fight back. Using advanced technology and training the Power Rangers Paranormal Squad fight the arcane evils.

After a jail break from outside of time releases some of the worst criminals throughout the time stream it’s up to a selected force from all of history to track them down and undo the harm they’ve caused. They are the Power Rangers Chrono Corps.

When pollution revives grotesque beasts and unleashes them on the world the queen of a hidden paradise called Nalima sends Animal Gems to find those whose hearts beat with the hearts of animals to fight as the Power Rangers Feral Kingdom.

An ancient clan of dark ninjas threatens to reignite a bloody war. Their main target is a peaceful ninja village. It’s up to a group of young ninja to stop this as the Power Rangers Elemental Ninjas. Wielding the elements they strike at darkness.

Thanks to the power of a strange meteor a family of cavemen is preserved in hibernation into the modern day when a group of aliens attempts to claim the meteor’s power for themselves. In order to defend itself and the family the meteor gives them the power to become the Power Rangers Prehistoric Might.

When five of the greatest officers in an intergalactic police force go rogue and release an army of criminals it’s up to their partners to discover the truth. They must track down and arrest all the released criminals as they search for clues to their mentors behavior. They are the Power Rangers Cosmic Patrol.

When the followers of a demonic beast threaten the safety of a magical kingdom it’s up to a group of novice sorcerers to defend the peace. Learning and training as they go they face great evil. With the blessing of the queen they become the Power Rangers Wizard Warriors.

A fateful encounter in ancient ruins between rival groups of treasure hunters and archeologists results in an ancient evil being released and cursing four of the groups. A heroic spirit empowers the fifth turning them into the Power Rangers Extreme Explorers and tasking them with stopping the evil  and his new minions.

When a centuries long war between animal spirits explodes onto the human realm a group of people find themselves possessed by animal spirits. In order to stop the wicked Dragon from continuing the war they must become the Power Rangers Primal Aura.

A group of scientists develop a series of artificial intelligence hoping to integrate them into technology to improve first response saving countless lives. However one AI tires of helping humanity and rebels. A well timed firewall prevents the AI from infecting the net but each day it grows stronger. To protect the world the children of the scientists team up with the remaining AI to become the Power Rangers Hybrid Responders to stop the AI before it’s too late.

Generations after a horde of monsters were defeated the spirits of the samurai warriors return. A new group of heroes must fight against this threat using the power of their ancestors as the Power Rangers Samurai Spirits.

Abducted and imprisoned by alien captors the Red Rangers are forced into gladiatorial combat for their amusement. It’s up to the Crimson Rangers to help them escape and find their way home in Forever Red Retold

Samurai Spirits and Bushido Blades

Long ago in ancient Japan there lived a mighty shogun, loved by his people he ruled during an era of peace until a dark threat rose. The Akukai, monstrous beings created from the spirits of the dishonorable dead began to attack the innocent.

Fortunately an order of monks and priestesses discovered a way to infuse kanji with a person’s spiritual essence creating the ability of Kanji-Ryuko. By using a Kanji Command warriors could unleash incredible attacks and abilities. The Shogun studied this ability and had a group of handpicked warriors study it as well. The order also provided a series of talisman to the samurai to give them further power in battle.

Using this ability the group of samurai was able to fend off the invasion and finally the Shogun gravely wounded the leader of the Akukai, Chionioh (Blood Demon King) as he and the rest of the warriors created a seal to keep the monsters trapped. However in the resulting explosion they were caught in a seal themselves.

Many centuries later the conditions were just right to break the seals releasing both groups. Chionioh was still healing from his wounds so his followers attacked the world to avenge him as the samurai aim to ward them off once more as the Power Rangers Bushido Blades!

Blade of Burning Flame! Red Bushido Ranger!- Takeshi Hakuryu*- The shogun of a great land long ago. While he may act arrogant and prideful he truly cares about those under his rule. When he awoke in the modern day he was devastated to learn his land fell while he was gone. Furthermore his wife, who was expecting their first child fled with the survivors of his people to seek shelter elsewhere and was lost to history. His spirit roars like a mighty inferno as he wields the Burning Broadsword. His talisman becomes the Lion Bushido Zord

After the Roaring Blade was reforged Takeshi gained the Shogun Battilizer turning the mighty inferno into an erupting volcano.

Blade of Rushing Water! Blue Bushido Ranger!- Daisuke Shimizu*- A great warrior who once fought the shogun in battle. Once he was disarmed he continued to fight, as he braced himself for the killing blow he was shocked Takeshi had chosen to spare his life. Awed by his power and mercy he swore his life to him. Even after all the centuries he keeps to his vow. His spirit is as powerful as a rushing river as he wields the Rainfall Bow and Arrows. His talisman becomes the Dragon Bushido Zord

Blade of Quaking Earth! Yellow Bushido Ranger!-Yoshiko Doi*- A member of the order who discovered Kanji-Ryuko. She is highly skilled in the use of it however her combat ability is lacking at first. She is quiet and contemplative however she opens up around close friends. Her spirit is as solid as a rock as she wields the Boulder Cutter. Her talisman becomes the Monkey Bushido Zord

Blade of Growing Forest! Green Bushido Ranger!-Shun Kobayashi*- A cunning ninja who heard tales of the shogun’s power. He spied on him for weeks watching him until witnessing his full power in a battle. As an enemy attempted to attack the exhausted shogun from behind he cut them down with a quick attack. In gratitude Takeshi welcomed him even after he revealed he knew he had been spying on him the whole time. His spirit grows like the lush forest as he wields the Leaf Spear. His talisman becomes the Bear Bushido Zord

Blade of Swirling Wind! Pink Bushido Ranger!- Rin Kazehaya*- An assassin hired to slay the shogun she got within striking distance when the shogun blocked her attack. Impressed with her obvious skill at her craft Takeshi hired her as his personal bodyguard, after having her eliminate her previous client first. Her spirit is as swift as the wind as she wields the Whirlwind Fan. Her talisman becomes the Turtle Bushido Zord

Face Claim: Yuuka Yano

Blade of Shining Light! Gold Bushido Ranger!- Hiroki Fukami*- A student of Japanese mythology who witnessed the Samurai’s first battle after they escaped the seal. He was the one who dubbed them Power Rangers and helped them adjust to the many changes in the world. Soon he would create a way to fight alongside them using a new form of Kanji-Ryuko. His spirit shines brightly as he wields the Glowing Blade. An early attempt to modernize Kanji-Ryuko resulted in the creation of the Alarm Lamp after this he creates a pair of talisman resulting in the Lobster and Squid Bushido Zords

Face Claim: Harry Shum Jr

Blade of Burning Flame! Red Bushido Ranger!- Kiyoko “Kiki” Ryumine* - An idol singer who makes waves by speaking out against the horrible conditions idols often face. She’s currently staring in the Japanese version of Triumph Trio based around flowers, she plays Triumph Rose. She is also the descendant of Takeshi, after discovering her link to him she begins to study the lost art of Kanji-Ryuko. She uses it to restore an ancient Bull talisman resulting in the creation of the Bull Bushido Zord. Her spirit is as fiery as a blaze as she wields the Burning Broadsword. The two Reds eventually learn that a shared relative, the descendant of Takeshi and the ancestor of Kiyoko fell to the Akukai. Now called Yakikiri (Burning Cut) this demonic swordsman is out for the blood of both Reds

Face Claim: Kanna Mori

In time the Rangers discover a new talisman allowing a person to unlock all their spiritual power at once creating the Spiritual mode. In this mode a Ranger’s power is increased tenfold.


By infusing the talismans with Kanji-Ryuko the Rangers can call forth the Bushido Zords which can combine to form the Bushido Megazord

Red- Torso and head
Blue/Green-Legs
Yellow/Pink- Arms

An additional trio of talisman become the Beetle, Fish, and Tiger Bushido Zords each giving the Bushido Megazord increased power as well as combining into the Bushido Wing Zord which combines with the Bushido Megazord to form the Soaring Bushido Megazord

The Lobster Bushido Zord forms its own Megazord as the Shining Lobster Megazord which has four modes including one that combines with the Squid. It can also combine with the main Megazord to form the Shining Bushido Megazord armed with a powerful cannon.

The Bull Bushido Zord also forms its own Megazord as the Charging Bushido Megazord.

The three Megazords can combine to form the Bushido Ultrazord.

The Alarm Lamp was an early attempt by Hiroki to modernize Kanji-Ryuko, he took one of the lamps the monks used to sense for Akukai attacks and modernized it accidentally giving it life in the process.

It accompanies him into battle and can blind enemies with a shining light as well as launch Bushido Disks. In a pinch it can be grown to megazord height to form the Bushido Lamp Megazord

The Roaring Blade was forged by the monks back during the original battles against the Akukai but it was shattered during one of the final battles. As the modern Akukai grow stronger the monks reforge the blade giving it to Takeshi.

When he uses the blade it grants him the Shogun Battilizer. The blade can also be grown to zord size and be wielded by either the Bushido Megazord or the Bushido Ultrazord as the Roaring Bushido Megazord and Roaring Bushido Ultrazord respectively.

The Akukai- Monstrous beings created from the spirits of the dishonored dead. They reside in the Ketsuryu River.

Chionioh- The Blood Demon King, left weakened by his imprisionment he must rest in his boat upon the Ketsuryu River until he regains his strength.

Gunshika- The Squid Strategist, the loyal attendant of Chionioh who comes up with plans to defeat the Bushio Rangers. He can call Akukai forth from the shores of the River to do Chionioh’s bidding.

Nakiuta- The Crying Song, her sorrowful melody echoes throughout the Ketsuryu River. Her music is the only thing that can sooth Chionioh’s temper.

Yakikiri- The Burning Cut, a descendant of Takeshi and ancestor of Kiyoko. He met his end during a duo with a rival swordsman but held onto life just long enough to find a gap leading to the Ketsuryu River where he drank its bloody water turning him into an Akukai warrior. He wields the Reidorobo Sword, a cursed blade that steals the souls of those it slays. In his final battle with his ancestor and descendant these souls hold him still long enough for the pair to cut him down once and for all.

Honegun- The Bone General, a devious schemer who takes command of the Akukai when Chionioh is forced to retreat to the bottom of the river to regain his strength after a battle with the Bushido Rangers. He manipulates those around him for his own goals and if not for underestimating Yakikiri’s cruelty he would have unleashed hell on Earth.

Chinoha- The Blood Blades, the foot soldiers of the Akukai. Each born from blood spilled in hatred and rage they attack in hordes in the name of Chionioh.

Morphers- Bushido Brushes
Morphing Call- Spirit of Bushido, arise and become my blade!
Morphing- Their elemental symbol surrounds them in their element forming the suits


Rangers Of Two Universes: A warp in reality brings the RPM Rangers to the world of the Bushido Rangers resulting in both teams working together to fend off an alliance of their enemies looking to take advantage of the warp.

“Prehistoric Might! Ready to Fight!“


Millions of years ago a family of cavemen saw a meteor fall to earth and were nearby when it hit. The impact triggered a volcanic eruption that buried the family in a wave of lava. However the meteor’s strange energy shielded them and placed them in hibernation.

Many years later a group of aliens arrive seeking the power of the meteor. They break the rock freeing the family. To defend itself the meteor scans nearby fossils and gives the family the power to fight the aliens as the Power Rangers Prehistoric Might

After the battle a group of scientists approaches the family, the meteor senses that they seek knowledge not power and allows the family to bring it to their lab for safe keeping. Once at the lab the family realizes a great change has happened to them. The meteor gave the family knowledge of language and basic understanding of the world they now find themselves in. However it could only give knowledge, not experience meaning they know what things are and how to speak but they lack social skills. The family takes new names to replace their former “primitive” names. They even name the meteor “Rocky”

Prehistoric Power- Power up- at first can only maintain for few minutes before their bodies get used to it.

Mighty Shield- Piece of the meteor that broke off when it entered the atmosphere. Powers up Red

Red Prehistoric Ranger- Tyrannosaurus- Bob- Middle son, finds himself fascinated by modern entertainment and media. He tries out many different hobbies to keep himself entertained. Eventually he discovers the Mighty Shield and uses it to become the Mighty Red Prehistoric Ranger granting him incredible power.- Fang Rod- Bob is bonded to the Tyrannosaurus Zord

Blue Prehistoric Ranger- Triceratops- Jim - Youngest son, finds himself interested in modern sports and athletic events. He wishes he could take part in them but fears his enhanced body would give him an unfair advantage- Horn Shield- Jim is bonded to the Triceratops Zord

Yellow Prehistoric Ranger- Pterodactyl- Emily- Daughter, finds herself interested in modern technology and society. She misses the friends she had back in prehistoric times but soon makes new ones with many of the scientists- Wing Daggers- Emily is bonded to the Pterodactyl Zord

Black Prehistoric Ranger- Brontosaurus- Jayce- Father, decides that since the meteor saved his family they have to protect it. His biggest concern is keeping his family safe and together. As he learns more about the world he begins to wonder if his own actions in the past were justified or right. - Bronto Staff- Jayce is bonded to the Brontosaurus CarrierZord

White Prehistoric Ranger- Tupuxuara- Jeff- Oldest son, despises the modern world, comes to feel that because he and his family were here first the world is theirs by right and wants to use the meteor’s power to take it back. After an argument with his father he runs away attacking family and enemy alike. After a series of battles he and Bob decide to settle it for good. However during the battle a monster attacks and Bob takes a hit meant for Jeff. This brings Jeff to his senses causing him to return to the family. - Feather Blade- Jeff is bonded to the Tupuxuara Zord.

Pink Prehistoric Ranger- Stegosaurus- Kayla- Mother, at first focuses on her family but soon allows herself to explore the modern world and is fascinated by what she finds. However when Jeff leaves she follows her eldest son to try and reign in his more destructive impulses - Stego Spear- Kayla is bonded to the Stegosaurus Zord

When Rocky scanned the fossils it created six small eggs and when the alien monsters began to grow gigantic instructed the Rangers to charge the eggs with their morphers. The red, blue and yellow eggs were the first to hatch into zords.

Prehistoric Megazord- Made up of the Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Pterodactyl zords.
Red- Torso, drill, legs, head
Blue- Arm
Yellow- Helmet, chest armor

After the black egg hatched it revealed the Brontosaurus CarrierZord.

The white and pink eggs hatched to reveal the Tupuxuara and Stegosaurus Zords

SkySpine Megazord- Made up of the Tupuxuara and Stegosaurus Zords
White- Arms, legs, weapon
Pink- Torso, head


During the scan other fossils were scanned and turned into Zord eggs later by Rocky to aid the Rangers.
The Pachycephalosaurus Zord grants a powerful punch
The Dimetrodon Zord grants a spinning blade
The Parasaurolophus Zord grants sheering scissors
The Anklyosaurus Zord grants a shield/drill combo

The Mighty Shield allows Bob to call upon the Styracosaurus Zord and chariot which combine to form the Mighty Megazord.

When combined with the four extra zords the Styracosaurus Zord forms the Meteoric Megazord.

When the Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, Tupuxuara and Stegosaurus Zords combine they form the Prehistoric Ultrazord using the Brontosaurus Zord as a ramp to launch towards their foes.

Morphing- Molten rock rises from their feet with ranger colored lava surging through it before shattering revealing their suits.

Power Rangers Elemental Might- The remains of the Dark Ninja army cast a spell on the Red Blue and Yellow Elemental Rangers and send them to take the meteor so they can use its power. This brings them into conflict with the Prehistoric Rangers until the other three Elemental Rangers break the spell leading to both teams uniting to fight their enemies.

The kingdom of Magi is a land of magic and sorcery ruled by the Burning King and the Frozen Queen (the royal insignia is a sun and a snowflake interlaced). About a decade ago the forces of dark magic calling themselves the followers of Noxorn, an ancient demonic beast destroyed long ago, attacked the kingdom and the King and Queen lead their forces into battle. During the battle the King vanished during a battle with a dark warrior. Despite the loss the Queen was able to drive off the invaders and returned home to mourn.

Now the dark forces have returned and a dark warrior wearing armor similar to the fallen king calling himself the Dark Wolf challenges the queen to battle. She falls in battle while protecting five novice wizards but the five manage to get her to safety. The queen sees potential in them and gives them the Wizard morphers telling them they must protect the kingdom of Magi as the Power Rangers Wizard Warriors

Flare of the Phoenix! Red Wizard Ranger!- Owen- He has an incredible amount of raw power however at first he lacked the focus leading to his power becoming a danger to himself and the other Rangers until he could properly focus it. - Armed with the Wizard Wand and Phoenix Sword

Waves of the Mermaid! Blue Wizard Ranger!- Melanie- A kind and caring young woman who specializes in healing magic. She can help heal many wounds but more severe injuries such as broken bones take multiple spells and fatal wounds cannot be healed by most magic. - Armed with the Wizard Wand and Mermaid Trident

Bolts of the Thunderbird! Yellow Wizard Ranger!- Dale- Out of the rangers he is the quickest physically and the fastest spell caster. He specializes in weather magic such as summoning or dissipating storms and calling forth the winds-Armed with the Wizard Wand and Thunderbird Crossbow

Horns of the Minotaur! Green Wizard Ranger!- Ricky- The strongest of the rangers physically he prefers to spend his days reading. He specializes in nature based magic such as controlling plant life or speaking with animals-Armed with the Wizard Wand and Minotaur Ax

Wings of the Fairy! Pink Wizard Ranger!- Angela- The youngest of the rangers she specializes in transformation magic such as illusions or shapeshifting. However she cannot use the unique powers of any being she shapeshifts into unless the powers are natural to its species -Armed with the Wizard Wand and Fairy Spear

Mystic Mode- As the forces of darkness grew stronger Queen Petra sent the rangers on a quest to find even great magical power. After many trials they were tasked with gathering certain items without the use of their magic. The items were “A still burning ember from the nest of a phoenix. A scale from a mermaid, colorful as coral. A feather from a thunderbird still surging with power. A horn from a minotaur broken by battle. And the dust of a fairy filled with joy.” After gathering the items the rangers were deemed worthy of the title and power of Mystic. These upgrades grant incredible mystic powers.

Shine of the Genie! Gold Wizard Ranger!- Jon- Suffering a fatal illness they searched the world for a cure before finding a genie’s lamp and making three wishes, the first was to save his life from the disease, the second was for the power to defend himself from a group of monsters who wanted the lamp, and the final wish was for the freedom of the genie. Out of gratitude the genie, named Felix, remains his friend and ally.

Blizzard of the Frozen Queen! White Wizard Ranger!- Queen Petra- A wise and caring ruler. After her husband fell in battle she had to rule the Kingdom of Magi by herself in the assistance of her royal council. When the Dark Wolf stole her wand after their battle it severely limited her magical ability.

One day everything changed when a troll sought sanctuary within the kingdom. He explained that many of his kind had felt oppressed within Magi and so joined the forces of darkness however under Noxorn’s followers they are treated like mindless soldiers, nothing but fodder.

He tried to inspire others to leave the dark forces but was branded a traitor and nearly executed. He regrets raising his weapon against the kingdom and seeks sanctuary in return for information.

He reveals the location of a dark fortress ruled by the Dark Wolf housing a single prisoner, King Christoph!

The Burning King lives!


Inferno of the Burning King! Crimson Wizard Ranger!- King Christoph- His brother Wolfgang was the dark warrior who kept him imprisoned to steal his power to get his revenge on his brother who he felt took everything he deserved. Wolfgang stole his power and even cast a spell over his horse binding it to him. After he defeated Queen Petra in battle, the cruel warrior lied to the king saying the queen had died of her wounds. Once the rangers freed him and told him the truth the enraged king engaged his brother in battle and retook his power as well as breaking the spell over his horse Requis revealing its true form as a majestic unicorn. After this he joined the fight against the forces of darkness alongside the rangers and his wife.

After the Burning King returns to his throne the troll reveals that Noxorn’s followers have been gathering dark magic from across the world for some time for a single spell. He says that he witnessed magical rituals both ancient and profane within a dark sanctum.  The spell will revive Noxorn and return him to his full power. Furthermore they intend to not only conquer Magi but the modern realm as well.


Zord spell- “Spirituum Magicae! Venite Facti Raphaim!”- “Spirits of Magic! Let Us Become Giants!“- Turns the main Rangers into Warrior Zords and turns the King and Queen into giants.

Red Phoenix Warrior Zord- A warrior armed with a burning sword- Forms the chest armor
Blue Mermaid Warrior Zord- A mermaid armed with a trident, can swim in any depths- Forms the boots
Yellow Thunderbird Warrior Zord- A thunderbird able to shoot bolts- Forms the wings
Green Minotaur Warrior Zord- A giant minotaur armed with an axe- Forms the torso, arms, legs, head
Pink Fairy Warrior Zord- A tiny fairy armed with blades- Forms the inner chest

The Mermaid, Thunderbird, Minotaur, and Fairy can also unite into a mighty dragon.

Shining Express Megazord- A megazord formed from a magic train owned by the Gold Ranger.


Dark Centaur Megazord- Formed by the Dark Wolf combining with Requis in his dark form. Has two forms, a centaur and a warrior.

Royal Centaur Megazord- Formed by the Burning King combining with Requis in his true form. Has a centaur form and a warrior form.


Mystic Griffin Megazord- Formed by the combination of the Firebird and Lion Warrior Zords.

One day within ancient ruins unseen by human eyes for many centuries a fateful encounter between five rival groups of treasure hunters takes place. Four of the groups were cruel with hearts full of greed however the fifth was noble and only sought to share the knowledge of those who no longer walk the Earth

Each group claimed to have arrived in the ruins first and soon a fight broke out. During the fight the seal on an ancient tomb is shattered releasing a dark spirit. Fortunately the spirit of a long dead Sentinel rises as well and the two battle over a relic.

The dark spirit promises great power and riches to those who will fight for it and four of the groups agree before the Sentinel can warn them of the cost.

The first group lead by a man with a cold heart became beings of ice and frost.
The second group lead by a hot blooded man became beings of flame and magma.
The third group lead by a woman who acted in the shadows became beings of the very darkness.
The fourth group lead by a woman who preferred to let robots do the dirty work became beings of metal with fangs of steel.

The spirit of the Sentinel recognizes the nobility of the remaining group and empowers them allowing them to defend themselves.

During the battle the relic is shattered and the Sentinel casts them out on the four winds spreading the pieces across the world. As the dark spirit fumes and flees the now cursed groups follow to pursue the pieces.

With the danger passed the Sentinel explains that he belonged to the people who made the ruins many years ago. They had been attacked by the spirit who he explains is called “Mordog”. The mages of his people managed to imprison Mordog but the battle left their civilization in ruins. As his people left to find a new home the Sentinel remained behind to stand guard over the tomb of Mordog.

He reveals that the relic the two had fought over was the key to Mordog’s true freedom and that if the evil one gathers all the pieces and reunites it he’ll be revived at full power. However if the Sentinel gains it he can destroy Mordog forever.

It is up to the five noble treasure hunters to find the pieces of the key before the cursed hunters. They are the Power Rangers Extreme Explorers

Red Exploration Ranger- Todd- Since finding a piece of pottery during a class field trip as a kid Todd has wanted to be an archeologist. When he was older he rescued a young heir from a cave in at a dig. In gratitude the young man offered to fund his expeditions and even allowed him to hand pick a team. This team would go on to have many adventures before the incident at the ruins. Todd believes that the past belongs to the present and relics from the past should be shared with either the decedents of those who left them or with all mankind- Armed with Exploration Lance- Drives the Exploration Truck and Jet Zords

Blue Exploration Ranger- Gary- A geologist who worked with Todd on many expeditions he was picked to join his team. His specialties are identifying the make up of stone and dirt- Armed with Exploration Cyclone- Drives the Exploration Helicopter and Mixer Zords

Yellow Exploration Ranger- Caitlin- An anthropologist who met Todd at many events such as meetings and museum exhibit openings. Her area of expertise is understanding the culture of different groups of people past and present- Armed with Exploration Diggers- Drives the Exploration Bulldozer and Drill Zords

Black Exploration Ranger- Sammy- A mechanic and pilot Todd met while stranded in the desert. He repaired his vehicle and made it run better than ever. He told Todd if he ever needed his help again all he had to do was call, he wasn’t fully expecting him to follow through on that- Armed with Exploration Smasher- Drives the Exploration Racer and Crane Zords

Pink Exploration Ranger- Rhonda- A mythologist who wrote several papers Todd has read. She specializes in legends and lore from around the world- Armed with Exploration Sprayer- Drives the Exploration Submarine and Digger Zords

Team weapon- Exploration Combo Cannon (freezes foes in concrete and shatters them)

After the first monster they fight grows to gigantic size the Rangers flee to their personal vehicles where their morphers empower and enlarge them becoming their Exploration Zords. The first five combine to form the Explorer Megazord armed with a shovel and pickax that combine into a sword

Red- Truck Zord- Forms the head, torso, and legs
Blue- Helicopter Zord- Forms the helmet and back
Yellow- Bulldozer Zord- Forms the right arm
Black- Racer Zord- Forms the chest
Pink- Submarine Zord- Forms the left arm

The team finds they can turn other vehicles into zords as well and turn five of their other vehicles into the Extreme Megazord

Red- Jet Zord- Forms the torso and head
Blue- Mixer Zord- Forms the right leg
Yellow- Drill Zord- Forms the right arm
Black- Crane Zord- Forms the left leg
Pink- Digger Zord- Forms the left arm


The two megazords can combine to form the Extreme Exploration Megazord


Eventually the team gains access to a battleship scheduled for destruction and use all their morphers to turn it into the Exploration Battleship Carrierzord which can form the Battleship Megazord


Platinum Exploration Ranger- Dwayne- Rich heir who funds the explorations as a pet project. When he sees the Rangers protecting innocent people he is inspired to be a better person. However he is injured while trying to help evacuate a group of people. The spirit of the Sentinel recognizes his newfound nobility and empowers him too- Armed with Exploration Scan Slasher (sniper slasher)- Drives the Exploration Rescue Zords

After joining the team in the field Dwayne buys a trio of decommissioned rescue vehicles and empowers them turning them into his zords that form the Exploration Rescue Megazord

Exploration Law Rescue Zord- Forms the right arm
