Converse is having a busy summer. Today, the brand announced the launch of a new sneaker series in its Jack Purcell line. It’s the third collaboration between Converse and Scottish lifestyle brand Hancock Vulcanised Articles.
The Converse Jack Purcell Rally x Hancock sneaker collection includes three styles in three colorways — Juice, Teal and Orange. The sneaker silhouette for the collection is known as the Rally.
The sneakers feature a vulcanized, water repellant canvas, playing homage to the Converse and Hancock roots.
Hancock was founded in 2012 as a luxury rubber-bonded-outerwear brand, with all pieces handmade at the brand’s Scotland factory. Hancock takes its name from Thomas Hancock, a British innovator in the use of waterproofing and rubber.
The sneakers will be available in Converse stores on July 10 in New York, San Francisco and other select retailers in the U.S., Europe and Asia. They’ll retail for $150.
Just last month, Converse announced the Jack Purcell all-leather collection for fall.
