Large gaps allow the frame to be over-tightened and even positioned to this, as the sound from this noticeably improves. Leads and feels the instrument well, the timbre is pretty clean and play nice.

The only known use of the verb brumle is in the late 1600s. OED's only evidence for brumle is from 1671, in Westminster-drollery.
