Squid Game age rating: Is it appropriate for kids?

Squid Game is currently standing at the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s trending list, outranking beloved titles like Sex Education, Cocomelon and The Circle.

With achieving a feat like that in only a matter of days, you’ve probably been preparing your weekend for a non-stop binge of this highly-ranked show. We certainly don’t blame you as it is said to be a title that is an absolute must-watch going into the Halloween season.

Netflix has currently given this new release a TV-MA age rating, which means that those 17 years old and younger are not permitted to watch this original series.

Squid Game features scenes that depict extreme violence and gore, strong language and frightening moments that are simply not suitable for a younger audience. All in all, it’s best to table this particular series for later when everyone watching is a tad bit older.
