The trialist who scored a belter for Leeds’ youngsters v Tadcaster Albion appears to be the lad from Galway.

Leeds United’s under-21s took on Tadcaster Albion yesterday evening, winning the game 2-0.
Leeds had the likes of Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jack McKay in the line-up – but also had four trialists on show.
One of those trialists scored the opening goal – a screamer from just outside the box which will no doubt have caught the eye of Leeds United’s development management.
The player in question appears to be former Reading talent Conor Shaughnessy.
The 20-year-old retweeted this video of the strike on his Twitter account and has been named by The 72 as being the player in question.
Shaughnessy is from Galway in the Republic of Ireland and first joined up with the Reading youth-team in 2012.
He has been released this summer though and, as reported by Vital Football, has already been on trial at Sheffield United this summer.
Conor, who is the brother of St Johnstone left-back Joe Shaughnessy, is a battling central midfielder who clearly has a hell of a strike on him as well.

A former Ireland under-15 international he is clearly hoping to find himself a new club in England rather than return to Ireland to continue his career.
A goal like this might just earn the Irishman a chance in the Leeds United youth system.
