While most parents give positive reinforcement to their children after they clean, we give Ashford Evans full permission to break this parenting code. You see, after returning home from a long trip, she was greeted by a sweet citrus smell in her bathroom. Lovely, right? Think again.

"The entire bathroom seemed to have been scrubbed just before my arrival," Evans wrote on her blog, Biscuits and Crazy. That's when she spotted one of her children's cereal bowls sitting on the shelf with what she thought was an old bar of soap - except she knew she hadn't bought any grapefruit-scented soaps recently.

She continued to return to the "soap" throughout the night, determined to figure out what it was and where it came from. But it wasn't until the next day, when her daughter came out of the bathroom holding the item to her lips and expressing how much she loved the scent, that she put the pieces together.

"Meeny found it in the boys bathroom at Tae Kwon Do and I brought it home," her daughter explained. And that's when it hit Evans that the round-shaped "cleaner" was really a urinal cake her five-year-old son pulled out of a urinal in a public bathroom. Yikes!

Lucky for Evans (not), her kids had scrubbed the entire bathroom with the cake. What's a mom to do? According to Evans, it's simple: "Pretend like it never happened and drink a bottle of wine (or two)."
