Rated 3 out of 5 by Benjamin C. from If you need heat, get something else. Very disappointed. Weber has such a great rep, but the Q1200 has underperformed. Instructions say it should be heated to 500-550 degrees when started (and that's good for cleaning after grilling, too); but it struggles to get to 400. Maybe 425, if the wind is blowing right. I've used both the 1lb gas containers and the larger tank with a hose, and I still have the problem. (And yes, I follow instructions to insure the shutoff doesn't get triggered, which I gather is a common problem.)
