Cheryl Tweedy seen for first time since business troubles revealed as she fuels Girls Aloud rumours

CHERYL Tweedy made a very rare public appearance last night as she reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates.

The singer, 40, was seen looking as gorgeous as ever as she arrived at a swanky restaurant to celebrate Nicola Roberts' 38th birthday.

Looking understatedly chic, Cheryl wore a loose fitting black jump suit, while her famous brown locks were full of volume.

She was seen chatting on her phone and grinning as she arrived at The BoTree Bar in Marylebone.

Birthday girl Nicola followed shortly afterwards, followed by Kimberley Walsh and her husband Justin Scott.

Laura Whitmore was also spotted arriving at the venue to celebrate.

Nadine Coyle didn’t appear to join them for the bash, but it seems a proper Girls Aloud reunion could be on the cards.

The Sun told earlier this month how they have launched company Let's Go Eskimo, inspired by a lyric from their 2004 hit Love Machine, for any money brought in by Girls Aloud.

It is the surest sign yet the group, who split in 2013, could be set to reform.

The band reunited last October for a charity ball in honour of bandmate Sarah Harding, who had breast cancer and died aged 39 in 2021. It was one of Sarah's final wishes, as she asked them to help raise money for cancer charities.

Cheryl’s own accounts could do with a boost as her latest accounts revealed her entertainment company is £1.35million in the red.

Following the huge success at the height of Girls Aloud, Cheryl enjoyed a solo career, but has not released new music since Let You only reached No 57 in the UK singles charts in May 2019.

And Cheryl's last big TV deal with the BBC ended in 2020, when The Greatest Dancer was axed after two series.

The accounts for CC Entertainment reported the debt for last year is slightly down from 2021, when it was £1.46million in the red.

Cheryl enjoyed a career resurgence earlier this year.

She won praise from critics for her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story, where she took on the leading role of Jenny from January to April.

The job, which is said to have made her £1,000-a-night, led to a bidding war with other productions keen to sign her.
