This week, Miley Cyrus touched down in New York for the NBC Upfronts event, where the singer announced that she and the network will host Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party for the upcoming 2023 celebration. (She hosted it last year with Pete Davidson in Miami). But Miley had more than that on her agenda, and whether she was taking in a Pamela Anderson-led Chicago performance on Broadway, or appearing on Seth Myers, she pulled out a stellar vintage look for the occasion.
Miley brought her fashion A-game for her press tour this week by digging into the designer archives for one-of-a-kind dresses. (A lover of vintage, she’s rocked many throwback Tom Ford creations.) It all started on Sunday when she emerged in a short, black vintage John Galliano camisole dress that was negligé-inspired. She paired it with simple black pumps. Later that day, she hit up Broadway’s Chicago in a fall 2000 Dior dress (also Galliano-era). It was gold and covered in leopard print-shaped sequins — Roxie Hart would be proud!
As the week progressed, the vintage looks only got bolder. On May 16, before taping with Seth Myers, she rocked a silky, red Galliano-era dress in a bias cut. On the show itself, she switched into a peachy Alexander McQueen dress from fall 2004. The elegant draping and accentuated bust silhouette felt surprisingly fresh and current.
The pièce de résistance? That would be the long, Chanel LBD from the 1990s — sourced from OpulentAddict — that she wore to her final event, a performance at the NBC Upfronts. She is a ’90s baby, after all!
