CHIVES - Culinary Herb (Allium schoenoprasum)

I LOVE Chives! It is very prolific comes back for me year after year. Also if you cut chives down to the soil it will grow back just as grass does, FAST. Therefore you can continuously harvest. Even though I typically harvest all the leaves, I allow one or two to flower for seeds.  They taste great in mashed potatoes and have many other culinary uses. The flowers look great as dried flowers and I have even put them in a vase.
