I managed to find a few hours to add a few more parts, just finished the High polys so far, but I figured it could be cool to add compatible parts from other rifles.
Just come off a week of 12-14 hour days on a short film I'm directing so it was nice to do something a little different.
They look quite clean right now, but I like adding detail in the normals with something like nDo for materials or screws and such. I'm also probably going to add tape, bandages, and other bits to give the mods a more rugged, wasteland feel.

the handmade rifle and the akm mod are the only weapons that i know of, also considering that the mod scene is most interested on assault rifles and in 5,56 calibers the 7,62 has been left mostly unused, i guess this battle rifle will live up to match the real world counterpart, you know, some devastating semiauto fire with rifle rounds across the Bush ;D
Do you plan on releasing this as a standalone only or as a replacer to the Combat Rifle?

"okay... but why?" first and foremost because it´s a rare caliber that many people already have in their games but left mostly unused and unrepresented across the Commonwealth, it is also a full-powered rifle cartridge, which is exactly the rounds that the FAL already shoot, remember the FAL is a battle rifle, not and assault rifle, it was designed to shoot full rounds, not intermediate rounds
"But i always thought that fallout´s 7.62 was the soviet 7.62x39?" who cares? if the handmade rifle shoots 7.62 it´s already a battle rifle, it doesnt make a difference if it´s x51 or x39 in a game that uses such simplistic ammo names, it also evades the gameplay problems with .308, because really guys, we all know that the .308 it´s widely used as a sniper round, so instead of unbalancing the whole round or make the weapon much OP why dont use the already battle rifle caliber we have?
i´m cool wjth the 5.56 since it will have the FNC variant, to be honest, this rifle could use the 3 types of ammo without a problema (5.56 7.62 .308) but i wanted to share my two cents on the topic and why i think the use of 7.62 as standard ammo is a fundamental part for this mod to be a god-tier battle rifle

Also, 7.62x39 isn't a full sized rifle round, it's an intermediate cartridge and the AK isn't a battle rifle. You're talking nonsense.

Just wondering do you have any plans to add the L2A1 LMG variant of the FAL into the mod? Would add some great variability to the overall mod
