Sex and the City fans are being given the chance to live exactly like Carrie Bradshaw (at least for a night), with a replica of her apartment going up for rent.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who played Bradshaw in the hit HBO series and its movie spin-offs, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that fans will now be able to rent the space in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood from Airbnb.
Guests lucky enough to land an overnight stay will get to strap on their Manolo Blahniks in a closet packed with designer delights and "vintage looks," before having the moment commemorated with a photoshoot.
Photos show all of the familiar favorites, from the rotary phone sitting on a distressed chair next to the bed, to columnist Bradshaw's trusty laptop—which comes complete with a sticky note. Cosmopolitan cocktails, it should go without saying, are also included in the offerings.
The attention to detail extends beyond the apartment's chic walls, with guests getting the opportunity to enjoy concierge services and brunch in Chelsea.
If that isn't enough, fans will also receive a virtual greeting from Parker herself as they arrive at the couture-filled brownstone.
Sharing a series of photos of the apartment on Instagram, Parker wrote: "And just like that... @Airbnb has recreated Carrie Bradshaw's Sex and the City apartment. And I'm partnering with them to offer lucky guests an overnight stay.
"It's delightful to be in such a familiar space, and we think you'll love the reminders of Carrie you will find scattered throughout. So go see what's hanging in that closet, try your hand at a little writing, and absolutely have a Cosmo."
In a statement shared on the Airbnb platform, Parker further said: "I couldn't be happier to personally welcome you into Carrie's world (and carefully curated closet).
"I'll greet you virtually, and from there our socially distanced concierge will ensure an incredible stay for you and your guest. Please note, the concierge will be on-site for the duration of your stay."
Staying at the apartment won't prove costly either, as the price has been set at $23 per night—a nod to the 23 years since Sex and the City first hit screens.
Sadly, for those hoping to pack a suitcase and make the stay a permanent one, Airbnb has stated that they are offering the space for two guests at a time for just one night—on either November 12 or 13. Bookings open on November 8 at noon.
The apartment rental is being offered to mark the highly anticipated debut of the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That..., which hits screens in December.
Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will be reprising their roles in the HBO Max show, which started shooting in New York City over the summer.
Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch, was also seen shooting for the show. He passed away in September, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
New cast additions include Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman, and Sara Ramírez, who will play a non-binary stand-up comedian.
Kim Cattrall, who memorably portrayed sex-positive publicist Samantha Jones in the Sex and the City franchise, will not be returning for the show.
