Mammon rules the Third Circle of Hell and he lords over the sin of greed. Considered to be the wealthiest being in Mulitverse, he takes on many shapes and forms. His original form was traditionally devilish, with golden-reddish skin, huger horns and bulging belly, but he frequently assumes other shapes, such as that of enormous serpent with human upper body, or even a single golden coin.
Mammon is selfish and greed personified. He ruthlessly pursues his goals and when he gains the prize he was seeking, he instantly discards it into his vast collection and moves on to new goal. Methods of achieveing his ends is of no importance to Mammon. Paranoid and craven, he is embodiment of lust for money and power gone rampatn, the corruption that uncontrolled wealth wracks upon the souls of mortals.
