However, that's been thrown into doubt after a video, which shows the singer allegedly pushing a woman, resurfaced.
In the clip, of which neither the origin nor the context is known, several people are seen waiting for the Colombian.
Some policemen surround the area in order to ensure things remain civil, but a lady manages to get very close to the singer and records her with her cell phone.
That's the moment when Shakira seems to push her away, grabbing her by the arm, before approaching some other fans with a smile.
Shakira's attitude generates mixed opinions
The controversial video circulating on TikTok has gone viral and has generated mixed opinions.
Some people have called Shakira rude and unfriendly over her behavior: "Clearly you can see that and what a bad look given she comes across as a diva."
"I love Shaki but it was very wrong of her to do that," wrote another user.
While some weren't happy with Shakira's behavior, others have come to her defence.

Some believe that the woman was to blame for getting too close to the singer, according to El Tiempo.
However, it appears that the woman was inside the building that Shakira left, meaning they may have previously met, since she is on the other side of the police barrier and isn't all that bothered after the singer pushes her away.
