So Happy I Bought More! NicholeThese are great/ I’m using them in my front entry so I get fresh air and still have privacy. I live in a cute but small apartment and don’t know why I didn’t think of this 2 years ago when I moved in. It’s an older building and was still undergoing full renovation when moved in. Quite honestly I didn’t think about my door being 2 inches from my height front door giving a straight shot into my living room and the nook I now have my office in.thank goodness I have an awesome neighbor. Strolling through the showroom I noticed the great price on these and realized I could put them in my entry with ease. I had a tension rod I wasn’t usuing. I just got a new job and I work from home. They are semi sheer but if you are outside looking in you can’t see at all. Love!!!!5
Perfect LisaI bought these for my daughters new apartment and she loves them very light weight and airy perfect color and goes well with decor, theme. another slam dunk from IKEA. Happy customer 5
Love these curtains!!!MelanieI bought these to use on my back porch and they are perfect. They are light and airy enough to let the sunshine in, but it also helps keep the patio insulated a bit from the cool night air. They are light so I used curtain weights on the bottom to keep them from blowing all over the place and that has helped. All in all, for the price they are perfect!5
high qualityElifHigh quality cotton velvet.
One of ikea's best offerings.

FabulousAliceNeeded 6 sets for my porch and finally found something affordable. They let in just the right amount of light and cool down the hell the porch becomes in the summer. $60 for SIX SETS! Can’t beat that, and they look great.
Couldn’t be happier5
Perfect for the purposeAliceBought these for my porch, which has tall windows. The grey stripe coordinates perfectly with my grey painted wood floor and I got five sets of curtains for $50…you can’t beat that. Need to be shortened, but a little hem tape will take care of that and I can make tie backs with the extra fabric. A few flaws in the fabric here and there, but nothing that affects the looks I can see. I have one wall of floor to ceiling curtains and I will repurpose one set into four shorter panels for the other wall.5
A ‘heavy’ sheer curtainAdrienneI purchased 2 packages (4 panels) of the Bymott curtain. These are a budget curtain.
Pros:
- Very inexpensive
- Heavier than a typical sheer curtain
- Lightweight, nice style
- Has the combination back tab/pocket rod header
Cons:
- Fabric quality
- Stitching quality
- Uneven lengths
I purchased the gray striped panels and love their color and that they have a modern look. However you really get what you pay for here - the fabric weave is very loose and out of 4 panels only 1 was flawless in terms of fabric. The others all had spots where the weave was warped or in two cases, where threads were broken and holes were beginning to form. These will not survive many washes.
Stitching is a disappointment- these have vertical stripes which should act as easy sewing guidelines and yet the stitching on some panels veers off by several stripes making crooked side hems and panels are not all the exact same length (but less variable than other IKEA panels I’ve purchased in the past).3
price was unbelievableLouannIt was the perfect shade which I wanted and the price was unbelievable.5
Light and airyKayBymott curtains let the light in without sacrificing privacy. They replaced heavy, gray drapes and bring my living room to life.5
Sweet summery curtainsKathyI am so pleased with these curtains. They filter the sun and moving shadows perfectly and help keep my very reactive dog from losing her mind when the wind blows. And the subtle grey stripe is sweet! Very reminiscent of Karl Larsen pix!5
Good for letting light inMorganUsing these in a room where I would like privacy, but also a good amount of sunlight. They are good for the price.5

Color is much different in personYenyGood quality for the price but the dolor doesn't represent the shade. At least not on pics. I thought it would be more of a blush pink. Definitely beige.3

Perfect sheersKaiI brought 3 pairs for my sunroom. They let in diffused light while adding just the right amount of privacy.4
Light comes in but people can't see inCaroleI loved the lightness of the curtains. During the day it has made such a difference with the amount of light that it allows to fill the room. I was worried that at night with my lights on people would be able to see in, but we went outside and you can make out some shapes but no details.5
