If you were a fan of Little Britain, the sketch show written and fronted by Matt Lucas and David Walliams, then you're in luck because it's coming back to TV for one night only.

The popular comedy aired between 2003 and 2006 on the BBC. Since then, a few additional sketches have been created for charity programmes, but the last one to feature both Matt and David was in 2009.

After a break of more than 10 years, the duo are finally reuniting on our screens in a new Little Britain sketch, it's been revealed.

Details are being kept under wraps for now but we know the sketch will be part of BBC One's The Big Night In, which will air on 23 April.

The Big Night In will "celebrate the acts of kindness, humour and the spirit of hope and resilience that is keeping the nation going during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic with a special night of programming for BBC One," the channel said.

"This is the first time the BBC’s biggest charitable partners, BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief, have come together and the aim of the evening is to celebrate and reward those going the extra mile to support their communities in these troubled times."

The three-hour programme will be presented by Matt Baker, Zoe Ball, Lenny Henry, Davina McCall and Paddy McGuinness and guests including Peter Kay, Catherine Tate and Gary Barlow will be taking part from their respective homes.

The star-studded show will feature "musical acts, money can’t buy prizes, comedy sketches and lots more surprises on the night," the BBC has said.

We know there'll be a special dance performance made up of clips recorded by people around the country, thanks to Strictly Come Dancing's Keep Dancing Challenge.

The Strictly pros have created a dance routine that they want the public to learn ahead of The Big Night In. Each dancer has choreographed ten seconds of the routine, all set to Dua Lipa’s 'Physical', and they want people to get learning the dance and filming themselves doing it. These videos can be submitted to The Big Night In on social media and a supercut of the best moments will get shown on the night.

The Big Night In will be on BBC One on Thursday 23 April from 7 - 10pm.
