Hoya clemensiorum T.Green is a spectacular Hoya which can grow leaves up to 20 cm long. Not only can its foliage grow to large sizes, but it is also very decorative - the thick, lanceolate leaves show wonderful contrast between the leaf blade and the venation, which is very dark green compared to the fresh colour of the blade.
The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
