Gordon Damer

With a razor sharp wit, an unparalleled passion and a basic grasp of the English language, Gordon brings his unique humor and insight 98.7 FM ESPN New York week nights as cohost of "ESPN New York Tonight". A veteran of NYC Sports radio he began his career in 1996 on the night the Yankees finished off the Braves for the World Series.

Born in Queens, raised on Long Island and now living in NJ, Gordon was original member of ESPN -NY and has been seen and heard in many places over the years including the YES Network, WCBS-AM and 1010 WINS.

Gordon graduated from St John's University, where he earned a B.A. in communications while also minoring in PlayStation. Gordon's teams are the Yankees, Dolphins, Knicks and St. John's and anyone who can beat the Jets. His Mount Rushmore of heroes growing up were Don Mattingly, Dan Marino, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and the guy invented surf and turf.
