    Germination Instructions

Sow as soon as you receive seed. Direct sow where they are to flower or under unheated glass. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Do not cover seed, press lightly into the soil. Ideal temp. 18-22°C for 2-4 weeks. Then cold stratify -4-+4°C for 4-6 weeks. Return to warmth 5-12°C for germination. Natural over wintering will often cause germination. Germination can be difficult and erratic. Once germinated and large enough to handle thin to 75cm spacing.

    Growing Instructions

Prefers any well-drained soil in full sun. Keep soil moist but do not over water. Do not over fertilise as this will lead to excessive leaf growth. Requires little attention.

    Cultivation Instructions

Will tolerate hard pruning. Deadhead to avoid self-seeding.
