Mr Lordi

The band consist of Mr Lordi, vocals and electric guitar, Amen, electric guitar, OX the bassist, Hella on keyboards and drummer Mana.

Following their victory, Lordi were celebrated throughout Finland: the Finnish postal service issued a Lordi postage stamp; an area of Mr Lordi’s hometown was renamed Lordi's Square; and a brand of dink Lordi Cola, was even named after the band!

Musical successes since have seen Lordi headline the MTV Europe Music Awards and in 2014 they released their seventh studio album: ‘Scare Force One.’

When it comes to appearances, Lordi are best known for performing in their monster costumes, which are all made by Mr Lordi himself, who is a professional make-up artist and sculptor. The costumes are inspired by the horror genre and the band KISS, who are a huge source of inspiration to Lordi. In fact, Mr Lordi has stated that without KISS, Lordi probably wouldn’t exist at all!
