Description

This is an oilpainting of Trollheimen in Norway, near my hometown. The view is to the north, showing some of the alpine hills in Oppdal with all their skiing slopes. Most of the painting is painted wet-on-wet, exept for the foreground and some of the midground highlights.

Painted in 2017.

Rune Horvli was born in 1974 in Oppdal, Norway.

He has IT-education from the armed forces in the Norwegian defense. After working several years in the army, he moved back to his home town in 2000 to start a new career.

He has now been selling original paintings to customers both in Norway and abroad, under the artist name "Trollheimen Galleri" on social media.
