I have a couple of fingers that are starting to “trigger.” I had used the hard plastic loops before and they worked great but they were too big for my little finger so I thought these would be a less expensive option. While waiting on these to arrive, I used some self-adherent tape and it actually works as well or better than these finger splints.

Size-wise, these were nicely adjustable and kept my fingers from bending. They slipped off and on easily for washing hands or applying hand sanitizer. Comfort-wise these were OK, but not great. The plastic Velcro strap the was heat stamped on scratched the adjacent finger. I would not recommend these as a first option.

Like the shorter ones\ half ones if the velcro starts to bother, use athletic tape.. use this to shoot on my weak hand by bending the bar and it allows me to hold my stance. They stay put, can be wasked. Really stops the pain

My fingers are small (ring size 5/6) and the finger splints fit perfectly. They likely would not fit larger fingers. There are 2 down sides to this product which is why I could only give 2 stars. First: the Velcro closure has an outside plastic top with very sharp edges that have actually scraped my fingers. Second: The splint is good for only one knuckle ---- if two knuckles are affected the splint is not long enough to provide support needed for both.

With these I didn't have to worry about tape or wrap to hold it on. I tore a tendon and the Dr gave me pretty much the same splint but I had to be careful about getting tape wet and wrapping it etc. These worked just as well and glad I got all different sizes because I went between 2 different sizes (Swelling).

I used this for a tuft fracture on ring finger. I decided to buy this to protect my finger during work or tasks which might impact healing. This is good for sleeping too (might have to tape though, as can slip off. I wrapped a seperated cotton wool pad around finger before placing on as its more comfortable. The rubber insert it came with, i found to be rather tight and uncomfortable to wear. - So i used cotton wool (seperated so it was thinner to wrap around my finger) worked better. Regards to the design: think would also be better if the nail part was covered as would provide more protection from any further injury. ha
Basically good enough. Does help a bit.
