When we bought our 'camp' in Maine we went to Ikea and purchased many items. Two of those items were two chairs. After 15 years we needed to replace the slip covers. These were the design my wife wanted, the price was 1/2 of other replacements and the feel of the fabric is wonderful

We have a butter yellow sunny living room, the adjacent foyer is navy blue with white trim. Years ago we bought an Ektorp loveseat and sofa with chaise with several covers- white, navy blue, a blue/white stripe, & light gray all the sets were cotton duck. . A few years later bought a deep blue chenille set and a dark gray cotton duck. So I could change the decor and my slip covers often. The channille were problematic as they were dry clean only and very expensive to dry clean in Florida. So I opted to give them away. But now I am going to replace the striped set except i must reuse the chaise pillow cover as they don’t sell that but mine is still in good shape the arms have faded and had 2 wear holes but are probably atleast 10 years old. The sofa and loveseat themselves have held up very well as i kept the cushions in plastic they came in. I used the heavy plastic bags under the slip covers on the seats. The frame, and furniture itself is perfect. With a new cover they will look like a new set. I highly recommend the ikea sets they are extremely well made. The slip covers make it easy to change your look especially if you pick classic furniture shape. I highly recommend this if you have pets and /or children or if you eat in your living area.
