Sylvia Graham is a Fashion Designer originally from Washington state that studied at Woodbury University and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts at Woodbury University in 2015. Always being an artist at heart, she started her studies in the direction of fashion styling studying at FIDM in downtown LA and therefore also has an Associates of Arts degree in Visual Communication, as well. While at FIDM she discovered her desire to want to design and the idea of being able to design clothes grew on her. While finishing up her degree at Woodbury she focused her final senior thesis senior collection on swimwear/resortwear which is something that intrests her, among all aspects of the industry. She also studied make-up in the past as it is another creative outlet for her and attended Los Angeles Make-Up School, which only adds to her talents.

 

 

The process of designing and being able to artistically express oneself through the creation of fashion is what drives her as a designer. She loves being able to create something innovative and new and the process of  research, sketching, and designing the garments and coming up with new ideas is the part of the design process she likes the most. She lives by the words "If your not completley in love with what your creating then its time to start thinking about making a change" because above all she values creating and is always striving to be inspired. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, discovering new things, and spending time with family/friends.
