This is an ORIGINAL Vintage Samick Ice Cube Clear KR-660 AC 6 string
electric guitar. It is made from Clear Acrylic (or lucite?). It is SOLID
beyond belief and heavy. It has amazing tone. The neck is perfectly
straight and the action is incredible. It has gold colored hardware, but
obviously not real gold. This guitar gets a lot of attention. It is NOT
a cheap Chinese K-Tone piece of junk. Look those for yourself and
you'll see they are indeed junk. This guitar is a South Korean made
masterpiece. In case you didn't know it, South Korea is one of our
greatest allies in the world and they are known for their quality
musical instruments.
This guitar is dated to sometime in the mid 90-s and it's not even produced anymore. I am the original owner and I bought it from L.I. Drum Center in Medford NY. You will most likely NOT find this guitar for sale elsewhere online probably. It is a UNIQUE and RARE Instrument!!! I may just change my mind and sell it back to myself but I'd rather play the bass. To prove this guitar is worth it, I will even lower my listing price from $600 to something more affordable. You will not be disappointed in this guitar. I never cared for the tremolo bar so I misplaced it somewhere but they are cheap enough to replace anyway. Just jam any kind of stick in there if tremolo is your style or get one of these new ones for the price of a $1.50 cheeseburger.
I would consider this guitar to be excellent condition however there are a couple of very minor dings in the headstock, which really are VERY exaggerated in the photographs. The lighting really makes minor streaks appear to be scratches and the dust looks like dirt. It also may appear that the hardware is tarnished, however I don't see that either. This may be very minor oxidation, which if course is unavoidable even though this guitar has been in a soft case in storage for years. This guitar has never been used other than a rehearsal or two since I am primarily a bass player.
Thank you for your interest. You will be HAPPY with this guitar !!!! PS. No matter what you do, DO NOT PAINT it !!!
