I just walked past the sink and it looks so perfect. Might be the fact that the dishes are done and the house is quiet. 🤪 Side note, I hope y'all have had a good day. I have a carnosa compacta (Hindu rope) that is new to me. When I received it in the mail, it has one strand that has both ends planted into the soil. I’m not sure what to do because they both seem to be in the soil pretty firmly. How is it supposed to grow? What do I do? Please help. #hoya #HinduRope #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #plantadvice

I’m still new to the #HoyaCarnosaCompacta #Hoya and I’ve been noticing that’s her leaves are wrinkly so I’ve just watered her but I was wondering if that’s the problem. She had one strand that was growing in the soil at both ends and had been like that since I got her so I just clipped that in two the other day. Please feel free to comment if you think I should be doing anything extra or different. Thanks #HoyaHangout

Roots! Poor girl’s been on a JOURNEY on the struggle bus. Now I think I was sold a cutting that was propagated in water. She had very thin roots. She looked healthy, but steadily declined. So I chopped.. Water prop didn’t work at all. So I tried something new.. I put her in a pot with wet soil + perlite, and placed her pot on a shallow cup of water. I also gave her a zip-lock humidity dome. I made sure her bottom water never ran out. 3 weeks later, beautiful white roots grew! I am so excited! I’m going to pot her up in a small pot and give her a soak, but not water again for a while. (Hold me back!) Please send green light & Planty grow vibes! 🙏💚 #rootporn #Hoya #HoyaHangout #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

#GregPSA : it's okay to "snooze" your plants. When you are prompted to water your plants, check the soil before you water. Some pots retain more moisture than others. My Hoya Something or Other has been snoozed for almost a month and I'll "snooze" it again- the soil is still moist. (: After you "snooze" a plant, Greg will prompt you to water (check) it again in three days. Some plants do so much better being allowed to dry between waterings. I have SO MUCH GROWTH on this Hoya now. #Greg helps you to get to know your own plant's watering rhythm. Water on a rhythm- not a schedule. 🪴

This is my first hoya and I am still new to indoor plants! Since my anxiety calls the shots, I ordered this hoya online and it came in this condition. Is it healthy? Any tips? There are small brown spots and some of the leaves are hard on the ends. #Hoya

Fresh leaf Friday! I got some plant mail yesterday that I’m so excited about from #plantproper. HUGE thanks to the Greg team for the gift card thanking me for spending my spring break chatting with everyone on the app about plant care! I loved the extra time off to answer questions and learn more myself in the process about taking care of our plants. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang #greggivesback #HappyPlants #FreshLeafFriday #Hoya #Maranta #HoyaHangout

#Hoya #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict My Hoya obsession is satisfied (for today) 😬 I just received Hoya Sarawak from Canopy Plants. I couldn’t be more pleased. She has beautiful dinner plate leaves that over time will sun stress a pretty reddish blush. She sits on my desk where I can stare at her all day in awe 💕

What other plant parents say
This is my favorite plant in my collection! I absolutely love the way the leaves look. The variegated ones are all unique. They do break off easily if you aren't careful but it grows so fast that you won't even notice in a couple weeks.
The vines grow so quickly with adequate care. Mine has 2 and they have grown at least 6 inches each in the last 3 months. A little fertilizer makes all the difference. They will bloom if you take good care of them too!
