Faucaria belongs to the Aizaceae family. The homeland of plants is South Africa. In nature, these are 36 species of leaf succulents growing in groups in arid areas. All of them have a shortened stem, short fleshy roots, about 3 pairs of thick juicy leaves, arranged, as a rule, crosswise. They have either tubercles or long hair-like teeth along the edge of the leaf. They bloom with rather large flowers of various shades of yellow.
Faukarya malozubata is a succulent plant with light green leaves about 5 cm long and 1 cm wide, with dark green specks, 1-3 cloves along the edge of the leaf. The flowers are yellow, up to 4 cm in diameter.
