Thought Hollywood had washed its hands of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha? Think again! It's time to go back in time for a prequel, titled The Carrie Diaries. (Yes, it's still alive.) Reportedly Michael Patrick King wants control, and rumor has it he fancies Blake Lively for the role of a youthful Carrie (though her reps have not confirmed). The story revolves around Carrie's first few months in New York City, and a source says the plot line will zoom in on "her relationship with an older man." Which... is basically sounding like Sex and the City the television series.
