Description

This species is a slow grower at the beginning, but worth it to have in your collection. This Hoya has very interesting mottled foliage. Once mature, the leaves are hard like card board, dark green and bronze with many silver splashes. The flowers are also very beautiful and like many others, seen only on mature plants. The corolla is yellow with some shades of light pink and the corona is red. The flowers have long white hairs! This is a Hoya for the foliage lover and you can enjoy without the flowers. This Hoya has grown well for us once it gets going.
We grow our Hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, only water when dry and we protect them well from cold temperatures. This Hoya is native to Malaysia and Thailand.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants, not the starter plants for sale.
