Joe Wright's Keira Knightley Trilogy (Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, Anna Karenina)
I'm a shamelessly huge fan Keira Knightley, and I've been waiting patiently for the 4K release of Pride & Prejudice, as well as Atonement and Anna Karenina (all directed by Joe Wright). When, oh when, will Universal release these beautiful films in 4K? They would look so beautiful with HDR.

The universal blu of P&P still looks quite nice on my projector, but yes, a 4K would be ideal. The cinematography and overall look of the film is so intoxicating beautiful, and partly why I never get tired of watching it.
I’m surprised a 4k remaster hasn’t been made available yet since the film remains popular (though some Jane Austen purists are still hard on it). And I really hope Knightley and Wright collaborate again sometime soon. It’s been awhile and some of their best work is together. |

I love these as well. There was a "4K" version of P&P around some of the digital platforms but it looked like a poor upscale to me. I imagine these were all completed on DIs so 4K releases may just end up being upscales anyway. Either way, I'll buy them!

According to IMDB, Pride & Prejudice was finished on 35mm, while the other two were finished in 2K. I don't know how accurate that is, but even if they're all 2K, I'd still very much like to have them on UHD (the Blu-rays all came out well over a decade ago).
